A Texture for a Tuesday
Over the years I’ve amassed a fairly large collection of textures that I’ve either procured through my travels, the scanning of found objects or through the outright man handling of Photoshop. Most of the textures have been generated for client work I was doing at one point or through experimentation into a new process.
I used to be fairly guarded about the work I created, and while I still am to some extent, I’ve realized that I will never be short on things like textures and most of the time they get used once or twice and then they just sit. So, why not make them accessible to people for use in their projects as well.
Today’s is the first in the series, and it’s downloadable from this page. I’ve also taken the opportunity to make this more “web friendly” by making it an 800×800 pixel seamless texture so you just have to drop it in to your css and you’re good. Enjoy.
