Earlier this month I wrapped up a new piece for local design resource, AIGA Portland. The piece, entitled Designing Space + Defining Place: the Role of Design in the Built Environment, explores the importance of design in the built environment and how it can act as a catalyst in cementing people’s experiences to the places they visit.
