That Addictive Daisy Chain Effect

One of the features I love on Substack is the discovery process that happens just after you subscribe to a newsletter. Those three curated newsletters that show up a split second after you hit the submit button are most likely the entrance to a wormhole. I have no proof beyond just how much time I spend subscribing to new finds, and then a few more, and a few more.

What’s that saying about an unread library and the possibilities that it holds? I can’t remember, but here is a pretty good argument for it. I know I’ll never read everything I have access to. That’s okay, though. The hope is that I’ll read just enough to make the connections between the neurons I need to, when I need them.

If you’re a bit of a reader and you’re into Substack, try daisy chaining some of those curated newsletters that Substack creators select. It’s good fun.
